Its about speed for me. Hob knobs for savouring the taste of the bickey and tea but if you want a good fast binge my biscuit of choice is the fruit shortcake from Mcvitie. Sometimes known as the "dead fly biscuit" its one you can dunk fully in the tea and stuff the whole thing in your mouth. Can demolish a whole packet very quickly.
One of a diminishing number of things I can do well now at my age. That and farting on the sofa are the kind of skills you develop in later life. Oh and moaning, being grumpy.

I've gone 50years without indulging in that activity.
I don't think I'll partake now.
From observations my assessment of the pleasure derived by dunkers doesn't make the practice worthwhile.

Yeah. A lot of people think that.
In my defence: I'm not a fan of tea - I only drink tea when I have a sore throat or flu-like symptoms.
Only ever drink coffee with breakfast & then only if I have a long day planned - ie long drive/major event.
Would only buy biscuits if they somehow make the shopping-list.

Don’t get the love for rich tea. They can’t stand up to a decent dunking. One little dip and there’s more biscuit in your tea than tea in your biscuit.
